Based on ideas gathered last week at the seminar I have begun making my paintings.
Firstly I gathered 4x Resene 4Lx4L sized boxes and lined those boxes with FutureProtect masking film, (for easy removal once the paint dries).
Then I have poured 2 types of common interior paints inside those boxes to create the fist layer of the paintings. Those 2 types of paints and paint colours were as follows:
Thorndon Cream, a colour from the current whites and neutrals fan-deck, mixed in salvaged Lumbersider Low Sheen
Half Sea Fog, a colour from the current whites and neutrals fan-deck, mixed in salvaged Hi- Opacity Ceiling paint from the tradie 'Decorator Range'
Both of these paints/colours are common for customers choosing walls/ceiling paints.
I plan to keep a record of what paint type and what colours I use throughout the creation of these paintings.
I plan to use paint colours that myself or other employees and designers frequently recommend for main interior and exterior colours, feature walls, doors, roofs, fences ect.
I will source all paints from the eco-waste bin at work.
I will collect different shaped/sized containers to create these paintings in
I plan to have multiple paintings at the go at any one time to allow for the extensive dry time
Below are photos of my progress:

The slightly creamer white is the Thorndon Cream, and the whiter white is Half Sea Fog
